Messina, Sicily

Messina is the Northern-most province of Sicily on the Eastern part of the island.

Vulcanic islands
Vulcano, Salina, Panarea, Stromboli (active volcano), Filicudi, Alicudi and Lipari.
Inhabited since the beginning of the 4th millennium B.C., among other things, these islands are also known for the hot springs of therapeutic value.
Lipari is the largest of these islands with the fortress, acropolis and museum.
Panarea is the most picturesque of these islands
