On February 27, 2002, at just 19 years of age, Alicia Keys set a record by winning 5 of the 6 Grammy Awards she was nominated for. An overwhelming honor to win just one as a newcomer to the music scene, but she accomplished that five times over. Alicia was born and raised by bi-racial parents in Manhattan.
