Born in central New Jersey of a middle class family, Jon Bon Jovi and his band have gone on to sold out worldwide tours and are one of the most popular rock groups of the last 20 years, long after other heavy rock bands of the 80s have died out and become extinct. He has been in several motion pictures, videos, and most recently hosted a party for Al Gore. In spite of all his fame, he never forgot his roots: he still lives in New Jersey; he even named the band's 4th albums "New Jersey"; and his mother (Carol Bon Jovi) runs The Official Bon Jovi Fan Club is run by his mother, Carol Bon Jovi, PO Box 326, Fords, NJ 08863; When there is a Sareyville, NJ High School Reunion, and he is not on the road, he attends and plays the gig. Jersey boy does good.
