One Person Can Make A Difference
Below is the Letter sent by Mr. Linza to University of Colorado, at Boulder:
"I recently was shocked by a personal webpage hosted on the University of Colorado at Boulder server that was one of the most humiliating and slanderous I've seen in some time against IA. Instead of handwringing and crying online I simply addressed this matter to the university executive staff, and followed up to their state and senate representatives in Washington, DC.
These efforts have paid off beautifully as I am pleased share with you in quote from the response I received below to inform you that my single handed attack in IA defense has resulted in the matter being recognized at the highest levels, immediately addressed, and the insulting site removed from their server!
If we focus on our own, we IA can address these issues one by one and make a major difference.

Below is the Response to Mr. Linza from University of Colorado at Boulder to him in quotes: " World access will be removed from that directory. It is an old, personal web page of a former English faculty member or instructor. Because it was a personal page, it was not appropriate for it to be on www.colorado.edu. "
And I was very pleased with the integrity of this additional follow-up note in quote: "Thanks for your reply and for pointing out this problem. I'm glad we were able to take care of the issue quickly. There is no room for this type of thing on CU's system. Thanks. Leonard"
