INGREDIENTS
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Links of Sweet Italian Sausage
1 Small Onion
3 Cloves Garlic, Quartered
1 15 ounce Can Diced Tomatoes
1/2 Glass White Wine
Salt & Pepper
In a pan heat your olive
oil and add one chopped onion. Season with salt and pepper and add
your garlic. When the onions start to turn translucent, add your sausage
and red pepper flakes.
At this point, boil a pot
of water for your pasta.
After it begins to brown,
pour half a glass of white wine in to deglaze. Allow the wine to cook
out, and put in your can of diced tomatoes. Re-season with salt and
pepper, continue to simmer until your pasta is done cooking.
Once the pasta is cooked
al dente, drain (drain well if the sauce is too thin, drain lightly if sauce
is too thick) and add it to your pan. Toss together and continue to cook
for another minute or so. Serve with fresh grated cheese.
