The Food: Leftovers

TOP 10 Commandments of Leftovers
1)
Never throw ANYTHING out, it is a sin (literally, and this comes from the peasants of Italy to those Italian immigrants who came here looking for a better way of life only to be greeted by the Great Depression, besides there is no reason for it.) When in doubt, add it to something else to cook out anything that may have 'grown' on it (obviously, if it is beyond repair and/or use, don't poison yourself, throw it out), the "never throw anything out" rule #1 was designed for a large family of 10 or more and you can be sure it was not more than a week old at the most.  So obviously this rule does not apply to someone who has kept it for several weeks or more.
2)  Thou shall serve, nothing is better than a mixed plate of stuff that tasted great the first time around.
3)  Never use a microwave, for anything.  I personally do not own one, and an oven only takes a few minutes more.  Why do some burn some parts of the frozen bread while others leave it still literally ice cold?  I just don't trust the whole theory, I think we have enough radioactive and radio waves in the air these days, ditch the microwave, take the cell phone.
4)  If it is pasta or ravioli, heat it in an oven at a lower temperature.
5)  Things that actually taste better leftover: homemade pizza, artichokes, some types of homemade soups
