The Food:  Gnocchi

Gnocchi with Red Sauce

INGREDIENTS
Gnocchi
Pancetta
Chopped/Diced Tomatoes
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Small Onion, Chopped
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Hot Pepper Flakes to taste
Wine
Cold Water
Basil
Romano Cheese
Parsley
Salt & Pepper to tasted

Gnocchi is the Italian version of potato dumplings.  It is said to be an authentic Sicilian dish, but other regions make this same claim to this type of pasta as well.  In any case, it is very filling, and heavy, you really do not want to eat an entire bowl of it. It is actually better if served as a small plate as an appetizer.
