Sicilian Fried Eggs

The first time I saw this I thought my mother had gone crazy, but she said its what her mother used to do.  Simply heat some cooking oil in a small pan (mine is aluminum), and add some peas and small cubes of potatoes.  Salt and pepper to taste.
