Cioccolata
(Chocolate)
Chocolate is actually invented by the Mexican Aztec
Indians. They even used as currency. Of course, once the Italians
got hold of it, there was no end to what they used it for, from cappuccino
toppings to desserts to chocolate covered canoli. You can use this
to serve over ice cream, desserts, crepes, even heat some milk and make hot
chocolate. The tomatoes too, were brought over by Columbus from
the Americas. Even still, the Italians took this food and perfected
it. Nothing seems to go better with chocolate than the taste of ground
espresso coffee beans.
It is estimated that chocolate is the 3rd largest
export of the world (coffee and sugar being first and second). It is
said that chocolate has a pleasure-producing chemical called phenylethaylamine,
which is the same substance released by the brain when people fall in love,
thus making it also an
aphrodisiac.
