The Food: Calzone

INGREDIENTS
Pizza Dough
Mozzarella Cheese
Ricotta Cheese
(Optional)
Pepperoni
Grilled Vegetables
(Optional)

Calzone basically translates to "pocket or trouser sandwich" (no comments on that one people).  What better way to enjoy some of Italy's finest delecacies than all in one sandwich?  The great thing about this, is once it is cooked, you can serve it warm (not hot)

Get a pound of dough, this will make 4 calzones.  You can get the dough frozen in the supermarket, or at a pizzeria, you can expect to pay about $2-3 for 2 lbs. of dough.  Defrost the dough if its frozen, if its from a pizzeria, just cut it into 4 equal pieces.  Roll into round shapes.

Place on top ricotta cheese, mozzarella, ham, tomato sauce, or whatever you would like on it (I usally serve warm tomato sauce on the side).  Fold 2 sides of the dough over to form a half circle, leave a slit open.  Place in the oven on a lightly oiled sheet at 350F for 25-30 minutes.

"Cheating"
If you really don't think you can do this, start off with some help:  buy yourself some Pillsbury pizza dough, unroll it, add pre-sliced pepperoni, mozzarella, sweet roasted peppers (all of which you can buy prepared and ready to eat).  Roll up, cook according to the directions, and there you have a fast and easy calzone.
