Fettucine Alfredo

INGREDIENTS
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Butter
Garlic
Heavy Cream or Half & Half
Grated Cheese
Fettucine or Thick Linguine Pasta

Slice the garlic as thin as you can get it and put in a fry pan with heated olive oil.  Sautee but do not burn the garlic for a few minutes.  Add the butter and once that is melted, add the grated cheese.  Add the heavy cream and continue to stir and liquify the ingredients.  After the fettucine or linguine pasta has cooked in a pot of boiling water, add it to the sauce and stir it up to coat it.  If the suace is too thick use some of the water that the pasta was boiling in to make the sauce more liquid.
